Rise among you one

Rise among you one

That one called David
A good Shepard of the flock
Watchful of the sheep, his brother’s interests keep
Selfish interests not take stock

Rise among you one
That one like David
A warrior and champion of the lost, fighting evil bands whatever the cost
Giving ear to the voiceless
That friend to the friendless

Rise among you one
That one as David
Who worships God in fear and humility?
Bows head obedient to his ways and submissively
Protects justice founded in laws

Rise among you one
That one for David
Led in truth and in spirit, who walks with integrity
Serving not to be served but serves with authenticity
Governs Gods cause

Rise among you one
A David
A worshiper and friend, whose heart pleases God
In step with his purpose and destiny
Whose legacy will never end
