DANCING TEEN?

She was looking at her reflection
Focusing on aspects of her composition
She swayed her hips tantalizingly
Wriggled her bottom suggestively
Smiling coyly appreciatively
Pre Madonna now
Thanks to Channel O and MTV
I know how that feels, but then I was twenty
She…
She can’t be more than ten
Yet going on thirty

Her mouth formed an impressive pout
Picture perfect for any magazine
She sauntered about cooing and singing
Oh touch my body - let me be your sexy thing
Her hands caressing her sides
Seeing that she caught her idols moves with pride
I know how that feels, but then I was twenty
She…
She can’t be more than ten
Yet going on thirty

How she dropped it like it’s hot
Dropped jaws is what she got
Not just from appreciative friends, among them older experienced men
She has no clue, what her moves can drive depraved men up to
Her hands on her barely visible growing chest
Little girl thinks she is a great dancer at best
I know how that feels, but then I was twenty
She…
She can’t be more than ten
Yet going on thirty

Girl don’t grow up too fast
Find yourself get some class
Grow your mind, something to last
Yes have fun but don’t get swayed
Know enough not to get played
Find your identity; let it be strong in God
And not in MTV
I know how it feels
but then I was twenty
Little girl stay your age, don’t run for going on thirty
